Tripod Ring Repair Kit for the tripod models CT-3401, CT-3402, CT -3442, CT-3441S and CT-3441T
Important
This Repair Kit is ONLY for 2013 and newer tripods. The rings for older tripods are out of production. Please compare the amount of rings in each twist-lock of your tripod with the amount of rings shown in this listing. If you have fewer rings than shown (6 including the flat ring), your tripod is from 2012 or older and not covered. The few remaining rings we have in stock for tripods made in 2012 and before, will only be used for customers that order our cleaning service.
Important
Please pick the correct option in the drop-down menu for the last ring of each set of rings. Please compare your old rings with the photos and the side-cut drawing of this product listing.
Option 1 has a small ridge on the last ring.
Option 2 has a no small ridge on the last ring.
Kit includes all rings for all leg sections.
For instructions please see our Care and Maintenance Manual
How to insert the rings:
1.) There are 2 holes at the end of every carbon tube, and 2 knobs inside the flat ring. Both knobs need to fall into those holes.
2.) There is a ridge inside the upper tube. That ridge needs to go into the gap of the flat ring when pushing the lower tube into the upper tube.
3.) Use your fingers to guide the rings into the upper tube. The rings need to be in the correct order! See the manual for images.
